Ingredients

12 slider buns

1 cup marinara sauce

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1/2 cup diced bell peppers (mixed colors)

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1 tablespoon garlic powder

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Slice the slider buns horizontally, keeping them joined as a whole (like a book).

Place the bottom half of the slider buns in a baking dish.

Spread a generous layer of marinara sauce on the bottom half of the buns.

Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.

Layer the pepperoni evenly, followed by the diced bell peppers, and then the remaining mozzarella cheese.

Sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper on top for added flavor.

Place the top half of the buns on the assembled ingredients.

In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder. Brush this mixture generously on top of the slider buns.
