Ingredients

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)

1 cup cooked and shredded chicken (or black beans for a vegetarian option)

½ cup diced bell peppers (any color)

¼ cup diced red onion

1 teaspoon taco seasoning

¼ cup salsa

Cooking spray (for baking or air frying)

Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Sour cream or guacamole for serving (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven or Air Fryer: If baking, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). If using an air fryer, preheat it to the same temperature.

Prepare the Tortillas: Warm the flour tortillas in a microwave for about 15-20 seconds to make them pliable.

Create the Cone Shape: Take a tortilla and cut a slit from the center to the edge. Roll it into a cone shape and secure with a toothpick or place in a muffin tin to hold the shape if you're baking.

Fill the Cones: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken (or black beans), cheese, diced bell peppers, red onion, taco seasoning, and salsa. Mix well.

Stuff the Cones: Fill each tortilla cone with the mixture, pressing gently to pack it in without breaking the tortilla.

            Bake or Air Fry:

              - For Baking: Place the cones in a greased or lined muffin tin to help them maintain their shape and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the tortillas are crispy and golden.

                - For Air Frying: Spray the cones lightly with cooking spray and place them in the air fryer basket (make sure they are not overcrowded). Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

Serve: Once cooked, remove the toothpicks (if used) and garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve hot with sour cream or guacamole on the side.
