Ingredients

1 box of red velvet cake mix

½ cup cream cheese, softened

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup powdered sugar (for coating)

½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth and fluffy.

Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture, mixing until well combined.

Gradually fold in the red velvet cake mix, ensuring no dry mix remains. If using, add chocolate chips and mix gently.

Once the dough is fully combined, chill it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. This helps the cookies hold their shape while baking.

After chilling, use a cookie scoop or spoon to portion out the dough balls. Roll each ball generously in powdered sugar to coat.

Place the powdered cookie dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers remain gooey.

Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Prep Time: 30 minutes | Total Time: 1 hour | Servings: Approximately 24 cookies

                      - Presentation Tips: Serve the cookies on a colorful plate, dusted with a little extra powdered sugar, and perhaps garnished with fresh raspberries or mint leaves for a pop of color.
