Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 lb spicy breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp cumin

Cooking spray or melted butter, for brushing

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage, softened cream cheese, drained Rotel tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin. Mix until well combined.

Unroll the Dough: Carefully unroll the crescent roll dough onto a lightly floured surface and separate it into individual triangles.

Add the Filling: Place a generous spoonful of the sausage and cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each crescent triangle.

Roll Them Up: Starting from the wide end, roll each crescent tightly towards the pointed end. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, with the pointed end facing down.

Brush the Tops: Lightly brush the tops of the crescents with cooking spray or melted butter for a golden finish.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescents are golden brown.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
