1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled (mild or spicy, based on preference)

1 (10 oz) can Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.

    In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbled sausage, softened cream cheese, drained Rotel tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and creamy.

      Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.

        Place a generous tablespoon of the sausage mixture at the wide end of each crescent triangle. Sprinkle a bit of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the mixture.

          Carefully roll the crescent from the wide end to the tip, enclosing the filling snugly. Place each rolled crescent onto the prepared baking sheet, tip-side down.

            Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffy.

              Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color.
