1 lb breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)

1 cup cream cheese, softened

6 large eggs

1 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 (30 oz) bag frozen hashbrowns, thawed

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish with non-stick spray.

    In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and crumbled. Drain excess fat and set aside.

      In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with the milk until smooth. Add the eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Whisk until well combined.

        In the prepared casserole dish, layer the thawed hashbrowns evenly across the bottom.

          Spread the cooked sausage over the hashbrowns.

            Pour the egg and cream cheese mixture over the sausage and hashbrowns, ensuring an even distribution.

              Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the casserole.

                Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.

                  Let the casserole cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
