Ingredients

12 oz cheese tortellini (store-bought or homemade)

1 lb thinly sliced sirloin steak

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium onion, sliced

1 medium green bell pepper, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 ½ cups provolone cheese, shredded

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Tortellini: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and green bell peppers. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until soft and slightly caramelized. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Cook the Steak: Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet. In the same skillet, add the thinly sliced sirloin steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Season with salt and black pepper.

Prepare the Creamy Sauce: Reduce the heat to low, then pour in the heavy cream and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well to combine. Gradually add the shredded provolone cheese, stirring constantly until melted and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a splash of water or more cream to reach your desired consistency.

Combine: Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet, stirring gently to combine with the steak and creamy provolone sauce. Let it cook together for 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Serve: Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Serve hot, garnished with fresh chopped parsley.
