Ingredients

1 pound kielbasa, sliced into 1-inch pieces

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium preferred)

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a kick)

1/4 cup water

Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, ground ginger, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to create the glaze. Whisk until smooth and well blended.

Place the sliced kielbasa into the slow cooker. Pour the glaze mixture over the kielbasa, and gently stir to ensure all pieces are coated.

Add the water to the slow cooker to help create steam and prevent burning.

Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally if possible. The kielbasa should be heated through and have absorbed the glaze.

Once done, carefully remove the lid and give the dish a gentle stir. Let it sit for a few minutes before serving to allow the sauce to thicken slightly.

Serve warm, garnished with chopped green onions for a fresh contrast.

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 4-6 hours (slow cooker) | Servings: 4-6

                - Presentation Tips: Serve the kielbasa in a large bowl, drenching it in the delicious glaze, and sprinkle with green onions for a pop of color. Pair it with crusty bread or steamed rice to soak up the extra sauce.
