Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

1/2 cup diced fresh jalapeños (adjust based on spice preference)

1/4 cup pickled jalapeños, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (for topping, optional)

2 tablespoons olive oil (for topping, optional)

Fresh cilantro, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and creamy.

Add the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses, diced fresh jalapeños, pickled jalapeños, garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are combined well.

Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and spread evenly.

If using breadcrumbs, combine them with the olive oil in a small bowl and sprinkle over the dip for a crispy topping.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and the top is golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.

Serve warm with tortilla chips, sliced veggies, or toasted baguette slices.
