1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

8 small corn tostadas

1 avocado, sliced

1 cup shredded red cabbage

1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped

1 lime, cut into wedges

Salsa verde or your favorite hot sauce for drizzle

Instructions
 

In a mixing bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until the shrimp are thoroughly coated in the spices.

    Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink, opaque, and cooked through. Remove from heat.

      To assemble the tostadas, lay out the corn tostadas on a serving platter.

        Begin layering the toppings: start with a few shrimp on each tostada, followed by slices of avocado and a generous handful of shredded red cabbage.
