Ingredients

8 oz fettuccine or spaghetti

1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced

3 tbsp olive oil, divided

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup baby spinach

½ cup heavy cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sear the Steak: While the pasta is cooking, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the sliced steak with salt and pepper. Add the steak to the skillet in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds or until fragrant. Add the cherry tomatoes and cook for 2-3 minutes until they soften.

Combine Ingredients: Stir in the baby spinach and cook until wilted. Lower the heat and add the heavy cream, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. Mix well until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens slightly.

Mix with Pasta: Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss to coat it well in the sauce. Finally, return the cooked steak to the skillet, mixing everything together. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.

Serve: Plate the steak pasta and garnish with fresh basil leaves. Serve immediately with extra Parmesan cheese on the side if desired.
