Dough:

4 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup warm milk (110°F)

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 large egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

Cheesecake Filling:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup fresh strawberries, finely diced

Strawberry Glaze:

1/2 cup powdered sugar

2 tbsp fresh strawberry puree (blend strawberries until smooth)

1-2 tsp milk, as needed for consistency

Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt. In a separate bowl, mix warm milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until a soft dough forms.

    Knead the Dough: Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

      Make the Cheesecake Filling: In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in the diced strawberries.

        Roll Out the Dough: Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle about 16x12 inches.

          Add the Filling: Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the rolled dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges. Starting from the long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log.

            Slice and Arrange: Cut the roll into 12 equal pieces. Place them cut-side up in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Cover and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

              Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

                Bake the Rolls: Bake the sweet rolls for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.

                  Prepare the Strawberry Glaze: In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar with strawberry puree and enough milk to reach a drizzle-able consistency.
