For the Sweet Rolls:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup granulated sugar

2 tsp instant yeast

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup milk, warmed

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 large egg

For the Cheesecake Filling:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup fresh strawberries, diced

For the Strawberry Glaze:

1 cup fresh strawberries, pureed

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions
 

Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, granulated sugar, instant yeast, and salt. In a separate bowl, mix the warmed milk, melted butter, and egg. Gradually stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until a soft dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.

    First Rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a clean cloth. Let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

      Make the Cheesecake Filling: In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in the diced strawberries.

        Roll the Dough: After the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle, roughly 12x15 inches. Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the dough.

          Shape the Rolls: Starting from one long edge, carefully roll the dough tightly into a log. Slice the log into 12 equal portions.

            Second Rise: Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, leaving space between each roll for them to expand. Cover with a cloth and let rise for another 30-40 minutes.
