2 cups all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon instant yeast

1/2 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup milk, warmed

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 large egg

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped

Optional: Extra powdered sugar for dusting

In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm milk, melted butter, sugar, and instant yeast. Stir gently and let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.

    Add the egg to the yeast mixture and whisk until blended.

      Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

        Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

          While the dough is rising, prepare the cheesecake filling. In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Stir in the chopped strawberries gently.

            Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle (about 12x16 inches).

              Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough. Roll the dough tightly from the longer side into a log.

                Cut the rolled dough into 10 equal pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.

                  Cover the baking dish with a towel and let the rolls rise again for about 30 minutes.

                    Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

                      Bake the sweet rolls for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

                        Let them cool for 10 minutes before dusting with extra powdered sugar, if desired.
