Ingredients

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

1/2 cup fresh raspberries

1 ripe banana, sliced

1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

1 tablespoon chia seeds

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

1/2 cup ice cubes

Instructions

Start by preparing all your ingredients: wash the strawberries and raspberries thoroughly and hull the strawberries. Slice the banana.

In a blender, combine the halved strawberries, raspberries, and sliced banana.

Pour in the almond milk and add the scoop of vanilla protein powder.

Add the chia seeds and honey or maple syrup if you'd like your smoothie sweeter.

Finally, add the ice cubes to the blender to create a refreshing chilled texture.

Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy, about 30-60 seconds, stopping to scrape down the sides of the blender if necessary.

Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey or syrup. Blend again if you add anything.

Once ready, pour the smoothie into glasses.
