Ingredients

1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1/2 cup Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled

1/2 cup green bell pepper, diced

1/2 cup roasted red peppers, sliced

1/4 cup black olives, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp dried basil

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

2 tbsp olive oil

Marinara sauce, for dipping

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, approximately 14x10 inches.

In a bowl, mix the mozzarella, pepperoni, Italian sausage, green bell pepper, roasted red peppers, black olives, garlic, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes (if using).

Spread the filling mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border on all sides.

Carefully roll the dough from one long side to the other, ensuring the filling stays inside. Pinch the seams to seal and tuck the ends under.

Place the rolled Stromboli seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush the top with beaten egg and drizzle with olive oil.

Use a sharp knife to make 3-4 slits on top of the Stromboli to allow steam to escape.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
