Ingredients

1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced

1 cup bell peppers (mixed colors), sliced

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 large loaves of French bread

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Salt to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Steak Filling:

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onions and sliced bell peppers. Sauté for about 4-5 minutes, until the vegetables start to soften.

      Cook the Steak:

Add the thinly sliced flank steak, minced garlic, paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and a pinch of salt to the skillet. Cook for 6-8 minutes, stirring frequently, until the steak is browned and cooked to your liking. Remove the skillet from the heat.

          Mix in Cheese:

Stir in the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese into the steak mixture until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined. Set aside to cool slightly.

              Prepare the Bread:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). While the oven is heating, take the French bread loaves and slice them in half lengthwise. Hollow out some of the bread from the inside to create space for filling.

                  Stuff the Bread:

Generously spoon the steak and cheese mixture into each half of the hollowed bread loaves. Press down gently to pack in the filling.

                      Bake:

Place the stuffed bread halves on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the bread is crispy and golden, and the cheese is bubbly.

                          Serve:

Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes. Slice into manageable portions and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
