Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

1/4 cup maple syrup

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons Sriracha (adjust for spice preference)

1-2 fresh jalapeños, diced (seeds removed for less heat)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Wings: Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to ensure they get crispy. Place them in a large mixing bowl.

Make the Marinade: In a separate bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, Sriracha, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Combine: Pour the marinade over the chicken wings and add the diced jalapeños. Toss until the wings are evenly coated in the marinade.

Marinate: For the best flavor, let the wings marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours if you have time.

Bake the Wings: Spread the marinated wings out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are crispy and caramelized, and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Serve: Remove the wings from the oven and let them cool slightly. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve with lime wedges on the side for an extra zest.
