Ingredients

2 pounds London broil (flank steak)

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup olive oil

3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

2 tablespoons honey

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

1 teaspoon black pepper

Salt to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

In a large resealable plastic bag, combine soy sauce, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, minced garlic, dried rosemary, black pepper, and salt. Mix well until the honey is fully dissolved.

Add the London broil to the bag, ensuring it’s completely submerged in the marinade. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight).

Preheat your grill or broiler to high heat. If using a grill, ensure the grates are well-oiled to prevent sticking.

Remove the London broil from the marinade and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking to ensure even cooking.

Grill or broil the steak for about 6-8 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer to check; it should read 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare.

Once cooked, remove the steak from the heat and cover it loosely with aluminum foil. Let it rest for 10 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.

Slice the London broil against the grain into thin strips for maximum tenderness.

Serve warm, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
