Ingredients

4 large croissants

1 cup sliced turkey breast (smoked or roasted)

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

8 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled

1 ripe avocado, sliced

1 cup baby spinach

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: fresh herbs (such as chives or parsley) for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to warm the croissants later.

Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. Season with salt and pepper to taste. This will create a delicious spread for your croissants.

Slice the Croissants: Carefully slice each croissant in half horizontally, creating a top and bottom.

Assemble: Spread a generous layer of the mayo-Dijon mixture on both the top and bottom halves of each croissant.

Layer Ingredients: Place a layer of turkey on the bottom half of the croissant, followed by a handful of baby spinach, sliced avocado, crumbled bacon, and a handful of shredded cheddar cheese.

Top It Off: Place the top half of the croissant back on, pressing down gently.

Toast the Croissants: Place the assembled croissants on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the croissants are golden brown.

Serve: Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
