1 lb ground turkey

1 packet taco seasoning

1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed

1 cup corn, drained

1 cup diced tomatoes (canned or fresh)

1 cup shredded cheese (Mexican blend or cheddar)

1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

1 avocado, diced (optional for topping)

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Sour cream (for serving)

Salsa (for serving)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Cook the Turkey: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground turkey until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

      Add Seasoning and Vegetables: Stir in the taco seasoning, followed by black beans, corn, and diced tomatoes. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

        Prepare the Crescent Dough: On a large baking sheet, unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Arrange the triangles in a ring shape, overlapping them slightly, so that the wider ends are pointing outward and the tips are facing inwards.

          Fill the Ring: Take the turkey mixture and spoon it evenly into the center of the ring. Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the turkey mixture.

            Fold and Seal: Bring the tips of the crescent triangles over the filling, tucking them under the wide ends to create a sealed ring.

              Brush with Egg Wash: Using a pastry brush, brush the beaten egg over the surface of the dough to give it a golden glaze.

                Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.

                  Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let it sit for 5 minutes. Garnish with diced avocado and chopped cilantro. Serve with sour cream and salsa on the side.
