Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Sauté the Shrimp: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until they are pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Garlic Cream Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it.

Add Liquids: Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes. Reduce the heat to medium-low, then add the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer.

Incorporate Cheese: Once the cream is heated through, gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a bit more chicken broth or heavy cream to reach your desired consistency.

Combine Shrimp with Sauce: Add the cooked shrimp back into the skillet and toss to coat them with the creamy garlic sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat everything through.

Serve: Plate the creamy garlic shrimp and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
